The name of the plant varies from region to region, so that in Eastern Finland it is known traditionally as ‘lakka’ and ‘hilla’ in Northern Finland. In English it is commonly known as cloudberry.

Both hanging and push-back stud variations of the earrings can be ordered. The stud earrings have large silver backings. The stamens are gilded. The diameter of the flower is 20mm.

Our Hilla ring enshrines the peaceful nature and beauty of Lapland. It is made from 925 sterling silver with gleaming gilded stamens. 

The Hilla flower is 20mm in diameter, with a band width of 3mm. The ring can be ordered in 19 different sizes from 15 to 24 (EU). 

NOTE that most rings are made to order and take from 1-2 weeks to be dispatched.

Crimp beads attach pearls and stones firmly to jewellery wire or thread without the need for glue. They are barrel finished and polished with a totally smooth surface and bead hole. Crimp beads are either pressed together lightly with a pair of pliers or added loosely as spacers. Crimp Beads are available in 925 sterling silver or 24K gold plated. 

The smaller balls have an outer diameter of 1.8mm and an inner diameter of 0.8mm. This size is suitable for 0.35mm wire. Small crimp beads are also available in gold. The larger beads have an outer diameter of 2.5mm with an inner diameter of 1.2mm, and are suitable for use with 45mm wire. They are sold in packs of 100.
